How Zeteo gets new transactions, and why some look different later.
How new transactions arrive
Zeteo gets new transactions when Plaid reports that your bank has new data.
Pending transactions
A recent purchase can show as Pending. Plaid says a transaction usually moves from pending to posted in one to five business days, and in rare cases it takes up to fourteen days.
The posted version can have a different name or amount. For example, a restaurant charge can change when the tip is added. When that happens, the pending transaction goes away and the posted one takes its place.
Check these first
- Does the account show Reconnect? Then Zeteo cannot sync it until you reconnect.
- Did your Premium end? Banks stop syncing when the 7-day grace period is over.
